We’ve officially started lessons for 2025, and things are back to normal after the New Year’s break.
This year, we’re excited to welcome a new teacher, Osaki, who will be teaching kids’ drum lessons on Saturdays. She will begin her classes in February. Osaki is an accomplished and highly skilled drummer, and you can learn more about her profile here. - 2024-12-10
- This year, our lessons will continue until December 29th. Lessons for 2025 will begin on January 4th for kids lessons and from the 5th with Hashida. Everything will be back to normal again on January 7th. Wishing you happy holidays!

We’re moving the drum studio to Motosumiyoshi on the Toyoko-line and the Meguro-line. The new place will be a 6-7 min walk from the station. We plan to open at the new location late March or early April this year.
About Our Drum Lessons

Our drum school offers private drum lessons for adults (ages 12 and up), within walking distance of Motosumiyoshi Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line, easily accessible from Yokohama and Tokyo and Kawasaki.
All lessons are one-on-one and suitable for beginner to advanced students, including complete beginners. Lessons are taught by an English-speaking instructor, making it easy for international residents in Japan to learn comfortably.
We use acoustic drum kits, and the studio is equipped with two drum sets so you can play together with the instructor and improve timing and coordination.
Many students start with no experience. Lessons are available daytime, in the evenings and on Saturdays, making it easy to fit drum lessons into your schedule. A free trial lesson is available.
